Walking Aid Manufacturer — Canes, Crutches and Walking Sticks

JinDa Rehab Medical manufactures walking aids — folding canes, quad canes, forearm crutches and underarm crutches — in Zhongshan, Guangdong. 22 models are in production, MOQ starts at 100 units per SKU for walking aids, and production runs 15–30 days after order confirmation.

Most walking aid enquiries we receive are not about the product; they are about whether the supplier can hold the same specification across repeat orders. Canes are a light, high-volume item, and the failure mode is always the same: the first shipment is right, the third one has a different tip, a thinner wall tube, or a handle that has been re-sourced.

Our answer is tooling discipline. Tube diameters, wall thickness, tip compounds and grip moulds are fixed per model and recorded on the specification sheet that ships with the quotation. When a repeat order is placed, the sheet is pulled and the same tooling is used — if something has to change (a material becomes unavailable, for example), you are told before production, not after arrival.

The catalogue splits into three families. Aluminium canes cover the volume end: adjustable height, standard ferrules, low MOQ. Carbon fibre canes are the lighter, higher-margin end for pharmacy and retail brands. Crutches — forearm and underarm — carry more assembly and a higher unit price, and are usually ordered by distributors who also take bath safety or commode chairs in the same container.

Buyer questions on this range

What is the MOQ for a custom-coloured walking cane?
Standard colours run at the normal 100-unit MOQ. A custom anodised colour becomes a dedicated coating batch, which typically moves the minimum to 300–500 units depending on the shade. Send the Pantone or RAL reference and we will confirm the exact minimum before you commit.
Can you match a sample we already have from another supplier?
Yes, and this is one of the most common requests we get. Send the physical sample or a drawing with the critical dimensions — tube outer diameter, wall thickness, overall length, tip diameter. We confirm which of our existing tools can match it and where a new tool would be needed, before quoting.
Do walking canes require FDA 510(k) clearance?
Canes and crutches used for mobility are normally regulated as Class I devices and are 510(k)-exempt in the United States, so establishment registration and device listing apply instead of a premarket submission. If you add a therapeutic claim to the packaging, check the classification again before printing.
How are canes packed for export?
Individually poly-bagged with the ferrule protected, then in an export carton sized to keep the carton weight under 20 kg for manual handling. Retail-ready cartons, hang tags and FBA-compliant labelling are available at order confirmation.
